I was interviewed by Bill Zortman on his program It’s Your Business on 10/14/2013 on how to be a successful landlord.This was my first interview. Bill invited me into the studio and said that we would have a “chat.” Being a bit nervous and not knowing the process, I thought we were going to role play first as a warm up. Nine minutes later Bill said “Thank You.” I stared at him blankly thinking it was time to start the interview. Bill said, “We already did the interview.” In shock I said, “We were on the air live?!” Good thing thing I stayed in character and didn’t say something dumb!  Lesson learned…when talking to the media, figure you are being recorded.
