How do I pay the Leasing Fee? The leasing fee is charge each time a lease is signed with a new tenant. Some property owner prefer to pay the leasing fee right after the lease is signed. Other prefer that we use the first month’s rent to pay the leasing fee. Either method works. One thing to keep in mind, if you choose to pay the leasing fee using the first month’s rent, you may not get an owner draw during the first month of the lease. Make sure you have enough of a cash reserve to cover your monthly mortgage payment. Keep in mind that you can conveniently make payments using your Owner Portal. Just enter your checking accounts account number, routing number, and the amount to transfer to your property account. Credit card payments are coming soon.
